Doctoral Students Amy Wang & Kerry O'Brien Receive PSC-CUNY Grant for New Project with Dr. Good

Amy Wang and Kerry O'Brien, both first-year doctoral students at the CUNY Graduate Center, have received a grant from PSC-CUNY Research Award Program alongside their advisor, Dr. Catherine Good. Their proposed project, spanning five studies, examines white women’s self-protective behaviors when encountering a Black or white man on the street, as well as what signals men can employ to communicate safety in turn. This innovative work continues The Good Lab's goal of conducting intersectional research in an applied setting. We look forward to following Amy and Kerry's progress through this exciting new project!
